  1. Hello all! I thought I'd make a little bit of a guide to raids, seen as many people can't seem to make it all the way through! To start raids you need 1750 total level, and you can teleport there by using the teleport icon then selecting Mini games - > God's Raid It's recommended you have at least full T2+ with a tier 3/4 weapon, 92 prayer and maxed combat skills. Stage one: The room consists of two types of NPCs. You should focus the Bellators first (the guys in torva), and clear the room of those. THIS PART IS EXTREMELY HARD WITHOUT A T4+ WEAPON! Then focus the Venefica, (the mages in virtus) they will set your prayer to 0 and can hit 70+, so it's not recommended to solo them unless you have a high tier weapon (T4+) that can kill them before they can get two or three hits off. Stage two: Stage two consists of four mini-bosses, these bosses hit quite hard, but if you're using soul-split with a decent weapon, and not tanking more than two, you should be fine. Attack the most eastern boss first, then move on 1 by 1 to the next boss. Stage three: Consists of two bosses, Rammernaut and Unholy cursebearer. although it is possible to tank both of these it is NOT RECOMMENDED, as they can both easily hit 60+ in a single tick. Instead, it IS RECOMMENDED to have someone with a good mage / ranged weapon to solo / all kill Rammernaut, then to kill the Unholy Cursebearer after Rammernaut dies. Here I swap to ranged, kill Rammernaut, then melee the Unholy Cursebearer. Stage four and five: Stage four and five are very similar and both difficult. The bosses can hit 80+ so be very careful with your health. Everytime you attack the bosses your prayer will be set to 0, so soul-split cannot reliably be used to heal. You'll need food to survive. The bosses can be kited, as they will not deal damage if you are moving or out of range. If you are quick, you can drink a prayer potion, put soul-split on and attack to heal back up to full hp. Repeat this until the boss is dead.

  6. Big POG! Love the update to raids, thanks Nero daddy
  7. ING Name: Iron Tickles Age: 22 Time zone: GMT+1 Total hours in-game: 20 ( as well as 60+ on old tyras) Position you are applying for: Server Support / Moderator What is your knowledge of Tyras like?: I think I have a good knowledge, such as how to fix some bugs, where X is located, and what drops X as well as knowing most of the commands. What is your primary language?: English Why do you want to join the Tyras staff team?: I want to join the Tyras staff team as I want to contribute to the server in a positive way. I always try and help people whenever possible, and I would like to give something back to the community. What makes you stand out to everyone else?: I have been a 'helper' and 'gamemaster' on many other WoW private servers, which I think gives me a little bit of experience in terms of helping people and answering questions. I was previously the Wiki Manager on the old Tyras, although we didn't manage to finish the project I'd like to get something similar running again. What do you think makes a good staff member?: I think a good staff member should be respectful and polite. I think it's important to remember than when you are a staff member, your actions are representing the whole Tyras community, in the same sense, I think it's important to act professional, but also ensure that you can take a joke, and just enjoy being a part of the community. What would you do if you caught someone bug-abusing? If I caught someone bug-abusing I would screenshot the bug abuse, and stop them from doing so immediately, perhaps jailing them so we can talk about the issue. I would inform them that abusing bugs is against the rules, and they should instead report the bug. I would document the process and report it to a Moderator or Nero. I would inform the abuser that if they continue to abuse this bug, they will be punished accordingly. (If the bug abuse was more sever I would not simply warn the abuser, and would issue fair punishment.) why do you think you deserve the role? I don't think I necessarily deserve the role, or that I'm entitled to the role. I merely want to contribute and give something back to the community and the server. I want to see the server reach the absolute top, and with the work you are all putting in you absolutely deserve it. I think the current staff team is an absolute credit to Tyras, and seeing their positive effect on the community made me want to be a part of this. I hope you consider this application, Thanks, Iron Tickles
